Thanksgiving was celebrated within the State University of Cahul on October, 26. The students, learned about the holyday's history, traditions, shared thanks, played games, helped themselves with food they had brought and watched funny thanksgiving Videos. Here is the Lesson Plan:
1. Oraganizatuion and Warm Up.
The teacher asks the students what they know about Thanksgiving
The students brainstormthe concept of Thanksgiving sharing knowledge, information, associations with Thanksgiving.
Pre-Viewing. Pre-teaching the vocabulary:
-gravy -Plymouth
-pumpkin pie -buttered rolls
-pilgrim - stuffings
-Mayflower - turkey
2. While-Viewing. The students are invited to watch the video
